Diastasis Recti is when the muscles in the stomach part to make room for a growing child during pregnancy. For some women these muscles slowly go ‘back together’ and can withstand internal pressure whilst we move – for most however the body needs a little more help. That’s where I come in!
We view the diastasis from a totally holistic approach, looking at nutrition, lifestyle habits (good and bad), hydration, exercise prescription, support, posture and even breathing patterns, all helping to close that tummy gap and make any midline gap left nice, strong and fit for purpose. As a Holistic Core Restore® coach I am trained to deliver this bespoke and functional programme across the Berkhamsted, Tring and Leighton Buzzard areas. I work out of my studio in Pitstone or online.

This programme isn’t just for those newly post natal ladies either – it’s for anyone suffering or worried about a diastasis and/or post natal stomach weakness. The aim of this focused course is to take any lady at any stage of healing that they may be at and get her right up to fully restored ready for the stresses and strains on the body that motherhood can bring, and just life in general! Education is key – everything is explained as we go so you are in control of your body and its recovery, we know how and why we are doing everything at every stage of the programme. We progress at the correct speed for you and you’ll find it is also really great at strengthening the pelvic floor (who’s going to say no that one!?). Therefore this course can help with pelvic and back pain and perhaps surprisingly de-stressing you! Our busy day to day lives do not promote healing, and this is effectively what we are doing – guiding and manipulating the healing of the tummy.

What’s actually included?
This totally bespoke package is made up of a 60 minute massage and then 6 x 45 minute 1:1 movement sessions looking at posture, breathing patterns, nutrition, exercise and hydration. These weekly sessions reiterate and progress the bespoke programme along and we set you realistic homework to continue the work between meetings. You can complete this programme online or face to face, if you are local you can still opt for the massage OR we can arrange an alternative whereby we swap the massage out for 2 x 30 minute movement sessions. When you enquiry let me know your options.
Within the price you also receive a kit.
Price: £366 at Pear Projects Studio – this is made up of an hour bespoke massage followed 6 x 45 minute sessions. We will be in constant contact throughout and you are not left to fend for yourself! Online option available but please be aware I will always push to meet & assess you in person for the first session and encourage the massage as soft tissue therapy can be the keystone to a good recovery.

Subsequent sessions: £23.50 per 30 minutes or £34.50 per 45 minutes sold in a batch of 4, 6, 8, 10 or even 12.
Paying across two or three instalments is also available.

Sadly no refunds can be given so make sure you are able to complete the sessions prior to booking your place. In the case of having to cancel a 1:1 session you must notify me with 24 hours notice, thereafter the session will be deemed as a ‘late cancel’ and used, if you can let me know within this time frame the session can be rescheduled. Your session expire after 90 days.
